Award Recipient: Ameerah Pearman

Ameerah is a wife of 20+ years, mother of four children, and 2x heart attack and cancer survivor. Ameerah and her husband both received sponsored tickets for Hearts of Valor Inc.’s first Annual Black Tie Gala. Following the gala, we had the opportunity to share Ameerah unique journey with cardiovascular disease through our Heartfelt Testimonies campaign. Ameerah vulnerably shared that the financial burden of her treatment and being unable to work consistently was taking a toll on her family. Thanks to our donors and sponsors, Hearts of Valor Inc. was able to award Ameerah and her family a $500 scholarship to assist with living expenses,
