Heartsavers Academy
HeartSavers Academy is a hands-on CPR and lifesaving skills training program designed to equip both medical professionals and community members with the knowledge and confidence to respond in cardiac emergencies. The program offers Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare professionals as well as accessible, discounted CPR training for community members, helping to expand lifesaving capacity across the communities we serve.
About The Heartsavers Academy
Training sessions emphasize practical, real-world scenarios and evidence-based instruction to ensure participants are prepared to act quickly and effectively during emergencies. By making CPR education more affordable and accessible, HeartSavers Academy helps remove financial barriers that often limit participation in lifesaving training.
As part of HeartSavers Academy, Hearts of Valor Inc. operates the HeartSmart Program, which provides free CPR certification for teens and young adults. HeartSmart is grounded in the understanding that cardiac events most often affect older family members such as parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles. By equipping teens with resuscitation skills, the program empowers them to take action during emergencies within their own households and communities.
Together, HeartSavers Academy and HeartSmart strengthen community preparedness, promote intergenerational safety, and build a culture of readiness where more individuals are trained, confident, and capable of saving lives.
